目前国内关于空气净化器的标准还比较混乱。普通情况下多数人可以借用美国家电协会的一个标准来参考。这个标准包括很多方面，最核心的就是CADR值

CADR：(洁净空气输出比率)。
CADR是美国家电制造商协会（AHAM）按照严格的测试标准进行测试得出的空气净化器输出洁净空气的比率。CADR数值越高，则表示净化器的净化效能越高。

1 L% l! ?" a- g- |: K, o要使室内空气质量达到一定的洁净标准，空气净化器就有两个必要的硬性指标，1、必须保证室内空气达到一定的换气次数（国际是5次）；2、空气净化器的一次净化效率必须比较高。 如果室内有污染源持续产生的话，这两个硬性指标的空气净化机可以使室内污染物保持在更低的浓度。
一、必须保证室内空气达到一定的换气次数，即要求空气净化器内置的风机有一定的风量。
一般要保证在：适用面积里每小时换气5次。

净化效率（CADR）值有三项指标：
1、尘埃（Dust）；

3、花粉(Pollen)。
CADR值就是能定量表征空气净化器以上两个必要条件的物理量。

1. 依据: 标准ANSI/AHAM AC-1 的测试程序及计算公式.

4. 测试环境：温度为：25±1.5℃，湿度为：40±5%
5. 测试程序:

b) 注入香烟烟雾，同时用风扇搅拌使烟尘分布均匀。
c) 开启待测样机，同时激光粒子计数器开始采样记录。

What is the Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR)?

" {# Z+ z" n- S" p1 m5 UThe CADR indicates the volume of filtered air delivered by an air cleaner. The higher the tobacco smoke, pollen and dust numbers, the faster the unit filters the air.

The AHAM Label (found on the packaging of the air cleaner) lists three CADR numbers ─ one for tobacco smoke, one for pollen and one for dust.

First, find the AHAM suggested room size noted prominently in the label. This suggested sizing should match the size of the room you are trying to clean.   

Next, compare CADR numbers from manufacturer to manufacturer and from air cleaner to air cleaner. Higher ratings for the dust, tobacco smoke and pollen CADR numbers indicate that the unit will filter the air faster than a unit with lower ratings.

If the ratings are same from one unit to the other, then the air filtering performance is similar.

From air cleaner to air cleaner, compare the CADR numbers listed next to each model number. First, look at suggested room size. Then refer to the tobacco smoke, dust and pollen CADR numbers. The Portable Electric Room Air Cleaner Verification Program provides assurance to the public, through presence of the AHAM Verification Seal, that manufacturers' claimed ratings of Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) have been independently verified in accordance with ANSI/AHAM Standard AC-1, "Method for Measuring Performance of Portable Household Electric Room Air Cleaners.

In addition, all ENERGY STAR® models shown in this directory are required to meet the requirements of both AHAM and the ENERGY STAR® program verification testing.

+ _" C5 C* C  l- fUnder the terms of the Program, manufacturers certify the CADR of a portable electric room air cleaner.  An independent laboratory verifies the performance of random samples taken from factory, warehouse and dealer showrooms.

) h2 [+ J! v+ A* N3 tANSI/AHAM Standard AC-1 applies to portable electric room air cleaners that remove particulate matter from the air and that have CADR ratings within the ranges noted below:

Tobacco Smoke 10 to 450 CADR
Dust 10 to 400 CADR

Room Size Calculation

ENERGY STAR® Verification
The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires third-party verification that an air cleaner bearing the ENERGY STAR® label meets the requirements for dust CADR per watt and standby power.  AHAM is an EPA recognized verification administrator providing verification testing for ENERGY STAR® models.  All ENERGY STAR® models shown in this directory are required to meet the requirements of both AHAM and ENERGY STAR® verification testing.

Verification Mark
The AHAM Portable Electric Room Air Cleaner Verification Mark is issued by AHAM to all manufacturers and private brand sellers of portable electric room air cleaners who are Licensees in the Program. Under terms of the Program, the manufacturer certifies that the CADR of all portable electric room air cleaners bearing this Mark are determined and accurately stated in accordance with the requirements of ANSI/AHAM Standard AC-1. The Verification Mark is required on all packaging of certified portable electric room air cleaners. Additionally, Program terms require that manufacturers display only CADR values for tobacco smoke, dust and pollen within the verification Mark. The Mark cannot imply verification of any other feature or performance factor. The use of ENERGY STAR® mark is administered by the EPA and the Department of Energy (DOE). While testing as part of the AHAM program does verify this rating, AHAM does not control use of the ENERGY STAR® mark.

AHAM's Directory of Certified Portable Electric Room Air Cleaners lists current program models for each participating Licensee in the Program. The directory may include room air cleaner models that were produced during a previous directory period, but which have no scheduled production during the current period.
